Hours changing for 2009

Based on feedback from clients, I’m changing my hours in the new year. My new hours will be as follows:

Tuesdays: 1-8:30pm
Wednesdays: 3-7pm
Thursdays: 1-8pm
Fridays: 10am-6pm

This new schedule will allow for more late afternoon and evening appointments while still keeping Friday morning open for those of you who like that appointment slot.

This change in hours is effective January 2nd, after the holidays are over.

For those that like to book online, the new schedule is already available, should you want to book something for the new year.


Weekly Fitness Fun

This week’s is a day late due to the holiday yesterday.

Still a pretty quiet time of year but I’ve got a few things to share.

Running:
I know this is out of our neighbourhood, but it’s a good class if you want to learn to run. The Running Room does classes of various kinds, including the popular ‘Learn to Run’ clinic. They teach you everything from proper form to what to wear to how to pace yourself so you finish the race! The High Park (2100 Bloor St. West) location has a clinic starting tomorrow. Dance:
Ever wanted to learn to Tango? Tango by Leeliana has classes at Trinity St. Paul Church (Bloor & Spadina). Beginner classes available several days per week. Contact them for more information and to find out start dates for the next session.

Dovercourt House (805 Dovercourt Rd) offers a large variety of classes, mostly dance. A lot of the classes are suitable for beginners. Check out the list and then contact the instructors for start dates!

Mixed Exercise (Cardio/Weights/Stretching/etc):
Thanks to my co-worker and fellow RMT Tiina for mentioning this one: Best Body Bootcamp is a Toronto-area company that does group fitness classes three times each week in local parks. They run one session in our very own Christie Pits! They start you out with a fitness assessment and teach you about healthy eating along with the fitness classes. For more info, check their website. Next session starts in a few weeks.

As always, there are drop-in classes available at fitness studios around the neighbourhood. Check out their websites for more information (and also see last week’s list!).

Online booking now up and running!

My online booking software is all set up and ready to go. Fast and easy, it’s a great way to book appointments. It helps avoid telephone tag and allows you to see what times I have available with only a few clicks.

I do ask people to create an account in order to use the system. However, creating an account is easy (just requires an email address) and your personal information will only be used to book your appointment. I won’t send you spam emails or sell your information to anyone, promise!
