Holiday Hours

Edit as of December 18th: There are no appointments left for the remainder of 2009. However, I am taking a waiting list – if interested, please email candice@candicermt.ca or call 416-828-7647 and let me know what days and times you would be interested in. I will contact you if something opens up. Thanks!

Now that we’re only a month away from the holidays, I thought I should post what my office hours will be like during late December and early January.

My office will be closed the following days:

December 24, 25, 26 & 27
December 31 & January 1st

I am available for appointments the following days and times during the week between Christmas and New Year’s:

Monday December 28th: 1 – 5:30pm
Tuesday December 29th: 1 – 7pm
Wednesday December 30th: 1 – 7pm

For those looking to book appointments during that week, I advise you to book early – that week tends to be very popular for bookings!

I will also be off on vacation the first week of January: from January 4th to January 10th inclusive.

Have a wonderful holiday season, no matter what you celebrate!

Office Closed over Long Weekend

Just a quick note: I won’t be in the office over the Easter long weekend. I will return to the office with my regular hours on Tuesday, April 14th. As of right now, my next available appointment is on Wednesday, April 15th in the afternoon.

If you need to get in touch with me over the weekend, I will be checking emails regularly and will reply when I can.

I hope you all have a wonderful long weekend!

Weekly Fitness Fun – March Break

As I know all you parents out there know, March Break is almost here! If you haven’t planned to take your family out of the city for the week, here are some fun fitness-related activities for you to try.

March Break at the Zoo – Ok, so it’s not specifically fitness related, but you do get a work-out walking to and from the various exhibits. They’ve even got some special tropical exhibits going on, for those who would like to get in out of the cold. Hot chocolate stations will also be open and educational talks will be given on a regular basis for those interested. Info on their website!

Like to ski? Both Centennial Park Ski & Snowboard Centre and Earl Bales Ski & Snowboard Centre have a “March Break Double Up Days” special. Purchase a pass to ski or snowboard during March Break and get twice the amount of time. For information on this, see the city’s website: Skiing Facilities

Inner Golf is offering March Break camps for kids who would like to learn to golf. Details here.

Green thumb, or just looking forward to spring? The Canada Blooms flower and garden festival has returned this year. Lots of stuff for the whole family, including a great natural playground for kids. For details on that, click here (and scroll to the very bottom).

Like rides? You probably already know about this one, but Rogers Centre has it’s annual Spring Fling during March Break. Tons of fun stuff for the whole family! Info here.

And of course, there’s always the fun of just heading to your local pool and swimming with the kids! Both the MNJCC and YMCA have family-friendly drop-in times. Check their websites for schedules: MNJCC and YMCA (look for ‘Rec Swim’).

Whatever you do with your March Break, enjoy it!

Gift Certificates

Now that we’re really coming into the holiday season, I thought I’d remind everyone that I do offer gift certificates for sale. They can be purchased for any of the services I offer, including Hot Stone Therapy (always popular during the cold winter months!), pregnancy massage, relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, etc.

If you’re interested in getting a gift certificate, just contact me! They can also be purchased at your next appointment.
