Infant Massage Instruction

Infant massage is a wonderful technique for parents and caregivers to learn in order to provide nurturing touch to their babies.

Benefits of massage for infants and children include increased bonding, reducing stress and increasing relaxation, stimulation of the systems of the body, helping with colic and gas, and helping regulate sleeping patterns.

While children of all ages can benefit from massage, the recommended age group for learning to give your baby massage is newborn to crawling. As well, if you are currently pregnant and would like to learn before your baby is born, I can accommodate this too – we’ll teach you using a doll.

Classes are $45 for 1.5 hours (approximately) of instruction in a small group setting. Cost includes the cost of an infant massage instruction booklet, which is yours to keep and refer to at home. Class dates are announced on my health & wellness blog, or you can just email me at candice@candicermt.ca to ask about classes.

If you’d prefer a private class, or were hoping to put something together for a group of friends, I can probably accommodate! Just email me and we’ll work out the details.
